Really looking forward to the new collection too. No better time to buy Irish and support local businness. No better time to buy only real wool, and stay away from cheaper mixed plastic weaves that waste energy, water and will be landfill in a few years.

I went a size smaller than what their sizing quiz recommended because I was worried about the sleeves being overwhelming, and it’s just a *little* shorter than I would have liked. But that’s my fault for not following their sizing recommendations!! Overall, a fabulous and fun sweater!

2 stars – because I love your sweaters. I’m giving 2 stars because I’ve always been a fan of your sweaters, but unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered two items, but only received one, and to make matters worse, the one I got wasn’t the right one. Why wasn’t I contacted when you realized one item was out of stock? It would have been great if we could’ve worked together to find an alternative solution. Instead of the sweater I ordered, I received a cardigan. I sent a complaint email, but after waiting 5 business days, I still haven’t received a response. The only communication I’ve gotten from you is an automated email asking me to leave a review. This situation is truly frustrating. Please send me the return form as soon as possible so I can get a refund. I’d love to put this unfortunate experience behind us and, if everything gets resolved, I’d be happy to order from you again in the future.

I have purchased many IrelandsEye knitwear from a shop in Niagara-on-the-Lake when I visit Canada. This cardigan is not boxy at all, but rather very flattering. I purchased my first Adare Cable cardigan many years ago and it became my go-to. Well, we just adopted a dog, and found our new addition sitting on the chair in our bedroom thoroughly enjoying "dismembering" my favorite sweater. I hoped when I checked the tag that I could still find this cardigan after so many years. Yes!!! So I thought I would try the raspberry color as well. Absolutely beautiful and these wash up so nicely and stay nice and soft. Cold water and line dry. I may just have to purchase the other colors as well. :-)

Beautiful color. I highly highly recommend steel marl. Regarding sizing, however, I am your typical North American male, but CANADIAN. I am 59 years old, 5 foot 11 and 210 pounds, all day long. i’ve got a little bit of a gut, but certainly not anything like you might see in the USA. Other than that, I would say I am a body type A who works out locationally. Using Ireland’s Eye sizing guide, I purchased a previous sweater that was an XL. When it arrived, I felt the sweater fit a little bit too tight, but not obscenely so. It might even be seen as a more stylish fit but definitely on the tighter side. This time around, I ordered an XXL and, in my opinion, it fits perfect. My point is, when I shop in North America, I typically buy an XL, never an XXL. Take that to the bank if you want. I might also add, that this sweater has a perfect weight to it. It’s comfortable to wear and very very warm.

I have purchased many IrelandsEye knitwear from a shop in Niagara-on-the-Lake when I visit Canada. This cardigan is not boxy at all, but rather very flattering. I purchased my first Adare Cable cardigan many years ago and it became my go-to. Well, we just adopted a dog, and found our new addition sitting on the chair in our bedroom thoroughly enjoying "dismembering" my favorite sweater. I hoped when I checked the tag that I could still find this cardigan after so many years. Yes!!! So I thought I would try the raspberry color as well. Absolutely beautiful and these wash up so nicely and stay nice and soft. Cold water and line dry. I may just have to purchase the other colors as well. :-)

Dair Aran Shawl Collar Sweater Steel Marl XXL

Beautiful color. I highly highly recommend steel marl. Regarding sizing, however, I am your typical North American male, but CANADIAN. I am 59 years old, 5 foot 11 and 210 pounds, all day long. i’ve got a little bit of a gut, but certainly not anything like you might see in the USA. Other than that, I would say I am a body type A who works out locationally. Using Ireland’s Eye sizing guide, I purchased a previous sweater that was an XL. When it arrived, I felt the sweater fit a little bit too tight, but not obscenely so. It might even be seen as a more stylish fit but definitely on the tighter side. This time around, I ordered an XXL and, in my opinion, it fits perfect. My point is, when I shop in North America, I typically buy an XL, never an XXL. Take that to the bank if you want. I might also add, that this sweater has a perfect weight to it. It’s comfortable to wear and very very warm.

Recently I bought the most beautiful cardigan from the Vintage collection at Ireland’s Eye. Since receiving it, I have lived in it by day. I love it! It is gorgeous- a lovely style, amazing patterns and very comfortable. From the minute I opened the beautifully wrapped package with personal message (why don’t other companies do this?) I have just simply enjoyed wearing it. Thank you Ireland’s Eye for the quality, excellent service and a beautiful, wearable cardigan.
